Android App – MyPasswords

Friday, July 15th, 2011

I have just finished my another new Android Application.  This one is called MyPasswords, it is a password manager for your phone.

I built this application because I was getting tired of forgetting all my secret answers, and I just didn’t trust any password manager with ads in it…not cool.  So I built one myself. 🙂

It is super simple, once you enter the decrypting password, it takes you to a list of all the items you have entered. Touch one of the items and it goes into the item. Simple. Check out the screenshots for more info.

It uses 128-bit, AES Encryption against the password, which means that data can only be decrypted by knowing the password.  Forget the password…no turning around.

The application also stores all the information in a flat file on your SD-Card so it can be backed up.  Or If your on the go, there is also the option to email the file to your self. There is NO internet connection in this app, it uses the phones email to send as an attachment.
